Siding
Siding is applied to most buildings to keep weather at bay. The proper preparation and application of the papering must
be done correctly to avoid moisture, condensation and the potential growth of mold. With more than forty years of experience,
Richard Joseph & Company has the knowledge and professional staff to install the best product possible. Our choices of
siding and supporting products are the best the market has to offer. Our siding choices represent a wide variety of
decorative looks and colors with the added attraction of low maintenance and durability. A professional siding application
starts with the right product, but without proper weatherproofing, your structure will have many issues down the road.
This is why with every siding job Richard Joseph & Company takes the time and protective measures to ensure your project
will be weatherproofed for years to come.

Fiber Cement
Fiber Cement siding is manufactured from Portland cement, ground sand, cellulose fiber
and other additives. Fiber Cement can resemble stucco, wood, clapboard, or cedar shingles.
More durable than wood, Fiber Cement is also fire resistant. Fiber Cement can hold paint 3-4
times longer than wood and is rot resistant.
Decorative Metal
For the sophisticated urban environment or just to make a definite statement, metal panels
is the answer. They are durable and add that splash of color that makes a property stand out.
With wide variety of standard colors and the availability of custom colors to your project's
specification, this product will make that distinctive statement you are seeking. Allow Richard
Joseph & Company to upgrade your project today.
Log
Our source for log siding has been active in both the home and commercial markets for over 30
years. They only harvest naturally seasoned dry standing timber. This means they are not
destroying living trees and are providing the clean-up that keeps forests healthy. Each harvested
area is then replanted to bring the forest back for new generations to enjoy. Logs are a
wonderful renewable resource that excites memories of our pioneer days.
Vinyl
Vinyl siding is a durable product with one of the lowest cost of installation on the market.
Vinyl siding is virtually maintenance free: this means no cracking, peeling, rotting or insect
incursions. We only use product that has met the standards of the Vinyl Institute for durability
and color retention. Vinyl siding is used extensively in some parts of the United States and
rarely seen in others.
Steel
Steel siding is manufactured of galvanized steel and coated with PVC to enhance a low-gloss
color fast texture. Steel siding is verified to withstand hurricane-force winds up to 160 miles
per hour. For areas that are prone to high gusting winds this is the perfect product. Steel
siding is fire retardant rated and insect resistant.
Aluminum
Aluminum siding was first used to cover wood clapboards to make them weatherproof and no longer
need painting. Because of the strength to weight ratio of aluminum it has been the answer to
many construction design challenges over the years. Although aluminum is not as readily used
today as fiber cement or vinyl, it still has a place in the market.
